I have the same or similar issue.

Today if failed to turn on. It shows RED and when I press the power button it dosn’t turn on at all. It stay in RED mode.

I disabled the indicated option in BIOS, but I’m still having the same issue.

Also, I tried the Mint 19 distribution and I have the exact same issue with both WiFi and Ethernet: Says “connecting” and then says “disconnected”.

I checked the logs on the router and I can see that it is making a DHCP request (I can see the Inspire’s MAC address), and the router responds with an IP address. There is nothing beyond that.

I’m not a Linux wiz so I’m not sure what to check on that end, but I’ve never had a problem like this in the past. Usually it either works completely or not at all.

Any more suggestions?

HDMI not recognized

Have a monitor and the HDMI is not being recognized. It’s not cable or monitor, they work with other machines. Downloaded latest version of Intel 500 drivers. Didn’t make a difference. VGA works with monitor but fuzzy. Want hdmi to work.

I FIXED IT.

The problem was the system time .. it was set to the year 2118. When I set it to something remotely close to the real time, both Ethernet and Wi-Fi is working now.

Hopefully this will help someone else someday!

Change to boot of Micro SD

Can or has anyone booted off of the Micros USB? We reimaged our Azulles but now find they don’t have enough storage for updates. I would like to either move the boot OS to a MicroSD or will have to restore back to the default and hope I don’t run out of space. Thanks

Hello,
Ubuntu 16.04 installs just fine on the Byte Plus; however, I am having trouble with the sound via HDMI. The only option in the sound settings is two-channel analog over HDMI, is there a driver or setting of some kind to get the digital output working. Or the broader question is how do I get digital audio to my AVR from the byte plus using hdmi or ac3/dts pass thru.

Welcome to the Azulle forums. I suggest you to try the latest LTS -18.04-. This release comes with a newer version of the kernel that handles the hardware on the Byte Plus better.

Thank you for the update. Have you tried with a different TV just to confirm if the behavior is the same? I am also assuming that you are using HDMI since VGA doesn’t pass audio. Also please confirm if you used our ISO:

Boot Loop

Hi,
I’ve been experiencing a boot loop issue ever since I went to wipe my Quantum Byte. It is stuck in an infinite boot loop of an intel screen, which then switches momentarily to a Installing Windows screen, then continuously reboots and does the same thing. I cannot access the Bios or anything else. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Or am I better off taking it to a local computer shop to diagnose the problems?
