Wifi Direct on Mini PC Stick
Hi.
We’v just bought a “Quantum Access LAN Fanless Mini PC Stick”, which we will be running headless.
Is there any way of allowing direct connection to it via wifi, without having to go through a router ?
It seems “Hosted Networking” is not supported by it’s driver on windows 10.
Any suggestions ?

Byte Plus does not recognize monitor through KVM
Hi,
My Byte Plus does not recognize my monitor through a VGA KVM, and defaults to 1024×768 resolution. I’m unable to override this or force installation of proper monitor driver.
Works correctly if I plug VGA directly into Byte Plus (with no KVM)
How do I get full 1080 resolution through a KVM? (iogear)

Connecting to vga monitor instead of hdmi
I have been using my byte plus at home with my hdmi monitor. Today I brought it to a friend’s to use his wi-fi, but he doesn’t have a hdmi monitor. I hooked up to a vga monitor, but no signal is output. Any way to reset output to vga without a hdmi connection?

My 4GB Azulle Byte Plus shows the 32GB as a Toshiba 032G72. What is the Toshiba 032G72? Is it a hard disc or SSD or e-MMC?

Regarding gaming on the access plus
I just got my access plus and was trying some games on it. But I think something is wrong. The device (mine is 32gb/4gb) isn’t running games well. I understand that this device isn’t designed for heavy gaming, but I thought that at least snes emulators and classic mame roms would run no problem, since most reviews I read show the device running minecraft!
Is there some kind of tweaking I can do to improve the device in terms of gaming? I also noticed that the device isn’t heating as much as I expected. The sticker on it was pretty direct in that matter but mine runs without heating. (I’m not in the winter by the way)

I need to bypass the power button so when I apply power it turns on
Hi, I’m using Access for and astronomical observatory. I need to bypass the power button so when I apply power it turns on . Is this possible? I tried taping the power button on but that didn’t work. Any bios setting that will allow me to do this. To recap, I need the computer to turn on when I apply power without physically turn it on. Also is the power cable a mini usb? I need to get an extension.

USB Client Mode?
Is there any way to use the USB OTG port to act as a client? I want to be able to use USB gadget mode in Linux to act as a USB serial device/ethernet adapter/etc.
I’ve set Chipset > South Bridge > USB OTG Support to PCI mode, but it doesn’t seem to be working.

Downgrade from Windows 10 64bit to Windows 10 32bit
I bought an Azulle Access Plus PC Stick with 4GB RAM a few week ago. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is preinstalled on it. I want to use some software which do not support 64-bit OS at all. They were running fine under Windows 7 32-bit but never worked on 64-bit systems. There is no way they can be installed using the Compatibility Mode so my only option is to change the Windows 10 Home from 64 bit to 32-bit. I’ve used Media Creation Tool (downloaded from Microsoft) to create a bootable USB Flash Drive. I selected Edition ” Windows 10 “, Architecture ” 32-bit (x86) in order to create the desired installer. It took a while to create but as a result I have an USB Flash Drive labelled as ESD-USB with some files on it. Then went to BIOS and disabled the Secure Boot and Fast Boot options then changed the boot order and restarted the PC Stick. Nothing happened because the Windows 10 Home 64-bit started as it does usually. Then I tried to boot from Windows 10 (SHIFT + resart) but did not help.
Then I decided to reinstall the Windows 10 Home 64-bit using the Factory Restore File just in case. Everything went OK so I still have 64-bit…
– How can I boot from a bootable USB Flash Drive if it’s not the WINPE with restoring files?
– Is it possible to downgrade somehow?
– Would the downgrade void my warrant on this PC Stick?
– Do I need a Windows 10 Home product key to change to 32bit?
– Where can I find my current Windows 10 Home 64-bit product key?

USB Device not recognized error message
Have been using Lynk with Byte Plus since it was available. In just the last week I have been getting this error message. “The Last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.” Anyone else seen this error. Makes the remote useless.

How can I boot from USB HDD or Flash Drive? Are there special BIOS settings I need to change?
You can easily boot from a USB HDD or Flash Drive by overriding the main boot device in the Save & Exit tab on the BIOS, however in order to boot the Operative System that you want to try/install, it has to be GPT/UEFI compatible.

You can use the Auto Power feature on the Quantum Access, you can find this setting here:
BIOS -> Advanced -> OS/BOM Configuration -> Select Auto Power on or manual power
If you can’t find there, please check this Post of how update the BIOS.
