Reply To: VLC MKV Stuttering

I am having the same problem with the Quantum Access and VLC media player. I even tried to copy the .mkv or .mp4 file directly to the on-board storage of the Quantum Access…same result. The audio stutters. Adjusting the delay with the “J” or “K” keys doesn’t fix the issue. One more note…I tried the Windows Media player and it works fine on the same file.

Anyone have a fix?

Found the fix another page here. Just disable the power saving features in the BIOS. To get to the BIOS, hit the delete key on start up.

I am having issues with the memory. I hardly have anything on my tablet and yet it says insufficient storage when trying to do anything on there. It also isn’t recognizing the keyboard. I have tried to reset it to factory settings and it will not reset.

Keyboard Draining Battery Issues

Hello Quantum View Support,

After recently buying your product I immediately noticed the battery issues when the keyboard is plugged in to the device. Overnight I often loose 50% of the tablet’s battery when it is plugged into the keyboard case. Might there be a way to fix this issue? Additionally windows often makes sounds of the keyboard disconnecting and reconnecting as I move the keyboard’s orientation. This orientation issue occurred even before I upgraded to Windows 10, however I have not observed the battery life issues when I was running 8.1. Please advise to how I can fix the keyboard battery life issues as I like to use it as a case, also please let me know if the sounds of the keyboard disconnecting is normal, and please let me know of any settings or tips I can use to conserve battery. Lastly, in regard to the light sensor, I cannot disable it through the advanced battery settings under ambient light sensor. Is there a way to turn it off or is it not routed through the OS? And for those who have encountered issues with upgrading to Windows 10, I am delighted to say the OS does not have the display issue where the display will fail to start after sleep. Thank you for the great product!

Just brought Azulle Quantum Access w/o LAN. After hooking it up, I started trying it out. When I opened Windows 10 Store, I selected the first app I wanted to download. The Description screen came up, and five seconds later Windows Store closed! Looked around, but no clue. Any help?

I am also plagued by the clock problem. It always involves a loss — never a gain of time. I’ve updated, synced, restarted and done everything I could think of to cure this. I strongly suspect a hardware problem. This flaw in an otherwise great product is very sad as it compromises its utility. Hopefully, tech will come up with a fix or a new model to replace the affected machines at a reduced price.

I’d appreciate some sort of a response.

Thank you.

If you disconnect the VGA on at least some of our Quantum Bytes, the display will not receive a signal again until the Quantum Byte is rebooted.

Hello,

I recently reverted back to WIN 8 on my quantum view hd (3000 series), off the usb drive as instructed, however now my touch screen is not working. Is there an available driver that I can download to get this working again?

Thanks

Hello Derin,

It seems that something went wrong in the update process and probably some Windows file got corrupted. My first recommendation will be to try the device in a different TV or monitor, just to verify that output is the same.

The ultimate solution is to perform a factory restore on the device, that will reinstall the Operative System, giving you a clean and fresh Windows to start again. You can follow the instructions of how to make it here.

Do not doubt to contact us if you have any question or need further help.

Thank you

Hello Drew,

The solution for the issues with your touch screen is the follow:

Please restart the device and press DEL immediately during boot to reach BIOS SETUP. Once in the bios, move over to the advanced tab and scroll down to OS/BOM (third option from the bottom) and make sure that the touch panel option is set to FocalTech(View2014002999 or lower), or Goodix(View20153000 or higher)

Do not hesitate to contact us directly if you any question or need further help.

Thank you.

I have the same issue. I am downloading the factory reset. I hate to loose all my program installations and data, but at least I should be able to revive the hardware.

Unfortunately a factory reset will not work. I can push F7 and Del but nothing happens. It is like it is not getting far enough in the BIOS to read the keyboard or maybe far enough to do anything. 🙁

Any other suggestions?
