Starting Azulle Plus with Ubuntu 16.04 without HDMI monitor?

Trying to use Azulle Plus without monitor, as a headless server. The problem is the startup never succeeds without monitor connected. Is there a way to get around this limitation?

After fruitless efforts, and apparently just taking to myself in this forum, I decided to re-installed the Windows 10 image back onto my BytePlus.
It should have not to be this much trouble for sound to work and an SD card to show up.
It is actually the first failure I’ve had while trying to implement Linux on a Desktop in over 10 years.
I am disappointment that I am limited to Windows 10 as my only real option for an OS on this.

Hello,

Thank you for choosing Azulle. You would need to purchase an “HDMI dummy Plug” that would go connected to the Male HDMI on the Access Plus. Keep in mind that most dummy plugs out on the market are male HDMI plugs and you in this case need a female HDMI plug, if you have further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards,

I tried aspect ratio to no avail, as a matter of fact there was no option to change from Full to any other option in the HDMI! input. I’m working on that, but it just might be the nature of the HDMI blade in this particular old Panasonic monitor TH-50PHD8UK.

What I did find that worked was something called DISPLAY SIZE, it reduces the display size by 95%. I have to go into a hidden menu each time and set this function to ON in order to see the Win !0 in full image, the turn it OFF each time to use it in the TV function.

As mentioned I’m still working on this Panasonic option menu problem because I’d like full use of my Harmony remote to turn all functions on and off for the Byte3.

I have a problem with my Access Mini PC Stick, I turn it on and only show the Quantum Icon an at the bottom centre the circle turning, already have more than 3 hours and nothing happens, no application opens.
For that reason I think it would be better to make a factory reset but there are no steps for my Access Mini PC Stick.
Could you please tell me the steps need to follow?
Or any recommendation from the experts of what to do.
Thank you very much,

Problem upgrading to new Win10 1709

I tried to do this update on 2 Quantum Bytes over the weekend. I get the to the end of the update and the required restart begins. Unit goes completely to sleep. A couple of power on-off resets are required to wake the unit. The Update history then says the required restart did not complete and the update is not installed. Any ideas.

Very standard config. Using VGA video.

New to the boards. I have read through all the topics and did not find a solution to my issue. I am not able to read any mico sd cards at all. When I purchased the device, i purchased a brand new class 10 mico sd card that fit the specs listed on your website. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times the drivers. I have searched the bios looking to the sd card reader to enable or see if it was disabled to no avail. I enjoy this device and it is working great except for this little issue. The SD card I purchased can be seen by my phone, my table, my camera and my desktop computer. The card is a ScanDisk Ultra 128gb class 10. Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Robert.

Hello carlitos23,

Thank you for using Azulle Forums. What you are describing is not typical of our units, since you can stream from other services I would recommend you to check STTVNOW system requirements also you trying streaming without Windows Defender running “REAL-TIME”, which will cause a big drop in performance.

Do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions or concerns.

Hello jtmcdermott,

Thank you for using our forums. Let me try to address your concerns:

I suggest to use the latest version of Ubuntu (17.10), everything should work out the box. Linux Mint uses a more stable approach however if you are looking to have this great distro I will recommend to check Ian Morrison work, he has done an amazing script that would allow you to respin an LM ISO and included the necessary drives:
